Bugs pending to be fixed!

There are two bugs that two users had reported recently, thanks for doing so.

I have detected them and as soon as I got some free time, I'll fix them and publish and update.

One of the bug made the app crash when the TTS engine failed, and the other one crashed the app as well when you use the "Goggles" app to scan the barcode in the bingo cards.

I'll have some time in the next 5 days so stay tuned.

I just added a feature an user request. He wanted to see the last numbers called when calling the numbers. So I added the possibility to see from 1 to 10 last numbers called, you can also configure the color and opacity of the numbers and the color of the strip where the numbers are shown.

While I was working, I decided to add also the possibility to select the color of the number in the ball. And also fixed some usability issues. I'm still testing it, but probably this weekend when I have some free time, I'll release this version. Here you have some screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about.

Nicknames Files (How To)

In the new version of Bingomatic you can create your own file with nicknames for the numbers, and then just placing it in a folder called 'Bingomatic' in your SD card you can use it by selecting in the preferences.

The file that you create has to be a simple 'txt' with the next structure:

• You have to write one number and its nicks for line
• You don't have to write all numbers, just the ones you want to associate to a nick
• You will write first the number, and after that the nicks separated for the character '-'
• You have to write at least one nick for the number you write. If you put more, in each game will be used one randomly.
• Don't write anything but the numbers, the separators (-) and the nicks.
• An example of a line with the number 24 and two nicks of it:

• 24-This is the nick1-And this is the nick2

Bingomatic Pro 1.7 released

The new version of Bingomatic Pro its already in the market. This update brings a lot of improvements y many aspects. It also brings new features as nicknames and backrgounds. Here you have a list with the new things this version offers:

• Nicknames for the numbers, you can create your owns
• Different backgrounds, you can use your own image
• Custom colors for ball, bingo cards and marker, also choose between different markers
• Better distribution in different screen sizes
• Many improvements in GUI, customization and usability
• Real landscape mode to fill the hole TV when you connect the device with it

I'm planing to restructure the web in order to make easier to find the important information. But for now at least I'll tell you a bit about how to create your own nicknames files in the next post.

Big update coming to Bingomatic Pro

As I said in the previous post, I'm working on an update for Bingomatic. I've work hard this week, and the next release will be ready soon. It comes with a bunch of new options and improvements.

Here you have a list of what you can expect to have in the new version:

• Choose between different backgrounds when calling the numbers.
• Also you can use your own images as background, just placing them in the Bingomatic folder on your SD card.
• Now the app will have the option of use nicknames for the numbers. It comes with English nicknames, but you can create your own file (a simple txt) of nicknames and use it just placing in the SD card too.
• There will be more customization options like color of the ball, of the marker, different kind of markers and size of the ball.
• The UI have been improved so now it fits better with different screen sizes, in tablets for example the ball will fit the screen.
• The landscape mode, now will be real landscape so it'll fit the hole screen for people who was using it on TV.
• A bug fixed when choosing which columns call or not.

I will release the update as soon as i can. It'll come first for bingomatic pro. Then probably I'll publish an update of the free version. It'll have advertisement in some screens and some of the options of the pro version, but it'll be an important update because now the free version is a bit outdated.
